Role Summary The Agile RTE & Program Manager II – IT Agile PMO will manage waterfall, Agile and hybrid programs, overseeing financial, scope, risk, dependency, stakeholder management, and communication with executive leadership. They ensure the execution of complex IT programs throughout their lifecycle, mitigate risks, and communicate progress to stakeholders. They may lead a team of project managers and Scrum Masters and play a key role in Agile transformation by coaching leaders and teams in Agile practices. The role requires flexibility between program management and RTE functions and the ability to work in a bi-modal environment. Work Schedule & Locations Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Locations include Salisbury, NC; Quincy, MA; Chicago, IL; Carlisle, PA; and Scarborough, ME. Eligibility Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities Manage and deliver complex Agile and Waterfall programs of up to $20M, managing risks and issues to minimize impacts. Collaborate with finance, project teams, and value stream owners to align financials with portfolio budgets. Ensure compliance with project delivery methods, tools, frameworks, and IT controls. Develop resource, timeline, and budget plans, and create overall project plans. Coordinate dependencies with related projects and teams. Define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities, and develop project charters. Create risk management blueprints and manage uncertainties associated with new solutions. Implement technological projects tailored to organizational needs. Report progress, risks, and updates to stakeholders. Monitor project KPIs and ensure adherence to procedures. Maintain project dashboards for transparent communication. Manage interdependencies and cross-project tasks. Ensure adherence to release management practices and develop deployment plans. Support Go/No-Go and CAB/TAB approvals. Manage program governance and stakeholder expectations. Lead waterfall programs and contribute to Agile transformation, facilitating SAFe and ART events. Coach and mentor project managers, Scrum Masters, and teams to foster Agile mindset. Coordinate Scrum of Scrums and prioritize backlog with Product Management. Manage dependencies across ARTs and teams, and oversee financial, risk, and dependency management at the program level. Drive process improvements and support the transformation from waterfall to Agile. Ensure operational stability and support deployments during off-hours if needed. Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; equivalent experience/certifications considered. 7+ years in project/program management, with 5+ years in Agile roles such as RTE. Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies, PPM tools (Jira), and SDLC. Data-driven decision-making skills. Leadership ability to guide teams through ambiguity. Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills. Financial acumen related to key indicators and strategic decision-making. Experience in servant leadership and Agile processes, including SAFe frameworks. Preferred Qualifications MBA or advanced business degree. Agile/SAFe certification. Experience managing Agile, SAFe, Scrum teams, and in retail environment is a plus.
