This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Our client is looking to add a Jr. Email Marketing Specialist to their team. This is a 6+ month contract role with the potential to extend. This role can be fully remote working EST - there is an office in Greater Boston if you\'re interested in going onsite.
Digital Marketing is looking for a motivated self-starter to join our email team. The role will be part of the team that works on email and digital initiatives. You will be responsible for helping to create email content including brief writing, creative development and evaluation. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal), deliver flawless execution, be nimble/flexible, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Support email and digital content development based on business priorities and ongoing sales performance.
- Partner with Email Supervisor and Media Performance team to execute the weekly email creative and production process with the purpose to deliver compelling, on-brand content that drives traffic to site and store.
- Provide detailed direction and guidance to the team\'s student co-op.
- Manage creative calendars, organization of all email creative assets, manage the week at a glance document and QA emails for accuracy.
- Develop clear, strategically sound briefs and demonstrate an ability to provide clear, direct feedback.
- Monitor the competitive email landscape as well as email trends and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.
- Experience using MS Excel & PowerPoint (no additional software required).
- 1-2 years\' experience with brand marketing; email experience is beneficial but not necessary.
- Communication is key; strong oral and written communicator with a focus on brief writing and creative evaluation; comfortable with giving clear feedback grounded in strategy.
- A team player who collaborates well and enjoys building relationships with partners across multiple disciplines with ability to navigate different team dynamics.
- Exhibits strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills.
