The Marketing and Communications function drives unified marketing, communications, and design strategies across the company that help us leverage and enhance the strength of our brand for independent distributor members, manufacturer supplier partners, associates, and other stakeholders, enabling our shared mission to grow and prosper. The Junior Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with AD's corporate marketing team and AD's meetings & events team to bring our conference theme to life at over 17 annual AD meetings through the development of compelling visuals. Primary Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of graphic design processes to support the collaboration between Corporate Marketing and Meetings & Events teams. Collaborate with various marketing leads to support communications with visuals including email banners, web banners, and social media templates. Create designs for all creative meetings assets including, but not limited to, name badges, lanyards, structures, backdrops, signs, and banners. Collaborate with AD's programs and own the creation of branded materials to elevate the look and feel of their booths at AD meetings. Support the vision for AD awards shows at meetings by developing materials including a program of events, awards envelopes, PPT slide presentations, and more. Own the development of materials for AD member companies to use in their Field Marketing Summits. Manage the graphic design support of the AD Women's Community, including the development of slide templates, social media images, email and web banners, and more. Ensure all artwork files are packaged appropriately and shared with the relevant internal stakeholder for print production. Other ad hoc design projects, duties and responsibilities as needed that may or may not be related to meetings & events work. Requirements Strong graphic design skills and ability to convey messaging through visual media. Ability to adjust design style to different projects and audiences. Ability to understand a company's brand aesthetic and convey that in different projects, while innovating and providing forward-thinking visuals. Ability to balance multiple requests and turn around designs in a fast-paced environment with quick deadlines. Ability to communicate and collaborate with different departments across the organization. Ability to handle feedback constructively and implement feedback into designs. Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to create print-ready artwork files for our vendors. Excellent interpersonal skills and upbeat, enthusiastic, and positive attitude. Keen attention to detail. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing or related fields preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education. 1-3 years of graphic design experience in an in-house or agency setting experience preferred. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint (operating in slide master, template development). Additional Comments: Business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. although work outside of these hours may be required. The position is based out of our corporate office in Wayne, PA, where we have a hybrid work schedule (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays in office with Mondays and Fridays remote) Travel: Minimal Affiliated Independent Distributors, Inc.
