Job Summary:

Insight Global is looking to hire a Junior Network Engineer for one of their top healthcare client in Western Massachusetts. This position will require 60% onsite work near Leominster, MA. The Senior Network Engineer’s role is to ensure practices and methodologies are implemented and executed on with respect to design, deployment and operations of wired and wireless networks. The Senior Network Engineer will work with the network team to provide technical guidance to ensure the project execution is on time and within scope. Provide leadership and technical know-how to maintain the network at a level to support mission critical applications in an academic medical center environment. The Senior Network Engineer will be the technical point of contact for network services and will provide design, migration and deployment guidance to customers. The current project this person will be working on is an enterprise wide LAN network refresh.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

Must Haves:

• 3-5 years experience as Network Engineer
• CCNA certification
• Experience troubleshooting network infrastructure devices (firewall, routers, switches, controllers)
• Ability to effectively communicate with doctors, nurses, etc
• Healthcare industry experience

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Configure and manage routing protocols and firewall settings to safeguard network integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, utilizing tools for monitoring and analysis.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate WAN and LAN solutions, enhancing connectivity.
• Document network configurations and changes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in network engineering.
