Overview:Baldwin Communication Solutions LLC is seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team. This senior-level position involves designing, installing, programming, and maintaining advanced security solutions for commercial clients. Ideal candidates will bring deep industry experience, a strong understanding of modern integrated systems, and a track record of working independently or leading small teams in complex project environments.If youre ready to take your low voltage career to the next level, and thrive in an environment that values precision, professionalism, and innovation we want to meet you.Key Responsibilities:Lead installations and configurations of complex low voltage systems, including:Enterprise-grade access control IP and cloud-based CCTV systems Fire alarm systems Burglar/intrusion alarm systems Program and integrate systems with network infrastructure and cloud platforms.Conduct advanced system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.Mentor junior technicians and assist in on-site training when needed.Work closely with project managers and clients to plan and deliver solutions tailored to specific operational needs.Read and interpret complex electrical and system diagrams.Ensure all installations comply with NEC, NFPA, and local codes.Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, system configurations, and service records.Manage tools, materials, and inventory for assigned projects.Requirements:Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial low voltage/security systems.Proven experience with:IP/networking fundamentals (static IPs, port forwarding, switch configuration)System integration and advanced programmingStructured cabling and conduit installation Deep familiarity with access control platforms, camera systems, and alarm systems.Ability to work with minimal supervision and solve problems in the field.Strong communication and leadership skills.Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and in confined or elevated spaces.Valid drivers license and clean driving record.Must pass a background check and drug screening.Experience reading blueprints.Open Availbility What We Offer:Competitive salary based on experience and certificationsOpportunities for growth and leadership within the companyOngoing training and support for advanced technologiesPaid TravelTools, uniforms, and safety gear providedHoliday PayTake pride in your craft.
