ROLE SUMMARY

The team at Just Pended Hawaii Real Estate Media is looking for a talented Lead Creative Specialist who is an expert in photography, videography, and drone operation. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, advanced client relationship & customer service skills, and an ability to operate autonomously on behalf of the business with minimal advanced training. They will also possess a growth mindset, always being open to feedback and direction, while looking for ways to improve their skills and innovate. Additionally, they will be passionate and understand that producing high-quality content starts with a love for the craft. Our Creative Specialist will be able to spearhead new initiatives and manage existing employees & processes.

Just Pended are on a mission to help full-time real estate agents quickly and effectively grow their business. We do this through leveraging every new listing to the max by capturing high-quality content and delivering it to the agent completely ready to post online with numerous pieces of content, on multiple social media platforms, at the touch of a button. We combine the awesome content we capture with our own special sauce for a top-shelf media package guaranteed to impress your client. We know the more interested buyers who see your professionally-done photos and videos, the sooner your client gets their ideal offer— that's why we deliver done-for-you social media content with every package!

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and Maintain Strong Client Relationships: You will have the opportunity to proactively connect with our clients, understand their specific requirements, and maintain strong relationships to deliver exceptional service and foster long-term partnerships. This, in turn, will propel our brand and business forward and provide us with the opportunity to work with some of the top-producing agents in our market.
• Tell Stories: Your creative talents will help to skillfully tell visual stories through your images, video, and social media content, capturing the unique features and character of each property to create emotional connections with potential buyers. You will also have the opportunity to help build our clients’ brands by showcasing them and their properties in a compelling and professional manner that aligns with their brand identity.

WHY YOU’LL BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE

• You have 4-5 years of creative experience as a professional or independent creative contractor.
• You are a passionate creative with refined photography and videography skills.
• You have extensive experience filming social media reels and can quickly innovate given changes to the landscape.
• You possess your own kit of gear for shooting, ideally Sony familiarity, drone, and gimbal.
• You have established roots on Maui and plan to remain on the island for the foreseeable future.
• You are professional and showcase etiquette, a positive attitude, and excellent customer service skills.
• You are great with clients and understand the importance of customer service and relationship building.
• You are analytical and possess strong creative, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• You can function under pressure in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
• You are detail obsessive and understand the importance of attention to detail.
• You are kind and personable and showcase empathy in and outside of work.
• You have a growth mindset and constantly challenge yourself to harness your full potential.
• You take feedback well and constantly look for ways to improve your craft and the craft of those around you.
• Your work is consistent and you make sure to stay disciplined and motivated to put your best foot forward.
• You have a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation that you can always use for the job.

BONUS POINTS

• Real estate industry, marketing/sales, client directing, and/or business/operations experience.
• You’re comfortable using a 3-axis gimbal to shoot stabilized video content.
• Proficiency with DSLR camera systems and lenses.
• Experienced completing personal branding projects, setting up studio lighting, using flash, and shooting portrait photography.

WORK HOURS & EARNING POTENTIAL

• Pay will be $70-78K annually (based on experience).
• Working hours will be approximately 40 per week, 5 days per week.
• Exact working hours are dependent on the needs of the business and the completion of projects.
• The standard work schedule ranges from Monday to Friday, 9:00A to 6:00P, with optional evening and weekend hours as needed for the business.
• 10 days of Paid Time-Off (PTO) after 90 days of employment.
• Mileage on travel for work will be reimbursed at the standard rate.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
• Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions
• Repeating motions that may include the arms, wrists, hand, and/or fingers
• Operating light machinery and/or electronic equipment
• Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
• Driving to complete job duties and standing for extended periods of time
