Job Description



The Learning and Development Engagement Partner (LDEP) is part of People, Performance and Development’s (PPD) Learning and Development (L&D) team. Under the general direction of the Learning and Development Manager, you will perform important professional and technical work, focused on high-level administrative support of learning and development programming, technology, and on-site operations of SFO’s Training Center. The LDEP will ensure successful learning experiences for SFO employees and partners through smooth, effective delivery, on-going support, and improvements of learning programs, technology, and events. The LDEP will monitoring and support multiple programs simultaneously and work closely with the L&D team and PPD partners to achieve successful delivery and administration of SFO’s learning and development initiatives. Additionally, the LDEP will play a key role in maintaining the Training Center as a top-tier facility.

Essential Duties

  1. Administer, coordinate, and monitor learning and development programs and facility: From Learning Management Systems (LMS) management, high-level administrative duties, data review and analysis, and operations oversight, you will play a significant role in ensuring SFO’s L&D team, its programs, and facility are operating at an optimal frequency.
  2. Provide excellent customer service: The LDEP is responsible for maintaining positive and productive interactions with SFO employees and training center visitors. As an integral member of the L&D team, you will be committed to engaging in collaborative teamwork, possess a strong sense of self-initiative with the ability to work independently, and problem solve.
  3. Be a primary source for SFO’s LMS: The LDEP will champion the use of LMS technology. Maintain and optimize SFO’s LMS, while keeping content organized, including uploading, publishing, auditing, and versioning. Manage training enrollments and attendance, and create and run reports. Test course content and troubleshoot issues. Provide primary LMS administrative support to stakeholders. The LDEP will make recommendations for improvement and engagement, and provide oversight for any LMS upgrades.
  4. Measure success: Track and evaluate L&D program metrics to ensure we’re on the right path and share your findings through reporting.
  5. Continuous improvement: Through reporting and data analysis, identify opportunities to enhance learning opportunities within the scope of L&D programs.
  6. Support professional learning and growth: Manage courses, workshops, and engagement activities. Respond to questions and inquiries related to L&D programming.
  7. Promote opportunities: Assist with marketing and managing program offerings, including training, workshops, and events through various outreach methods to connect with employees.
  8. Efficiency matters: Monitor and maintain Training Center technology, equipment, and processes for L&D services, seeking ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  9. Collaborate for success: Partner with PPD team members to discuss program strategies that align with the Airport’s operational needs.
  10. Stay organized: Coordinate L&D workshops, events, and programs, fostering collaboration with volunteers from various divisions.

1. Education : Possession of a Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university;

AND

2. Experience : Three (3) years full-time equivalent experience performing professional-level administrative duties in functional areas such as: program/office/operations management, budget development and/or administration, development and administration of contractual agreements and/or grants, or other closely related functional areas.

 

Substitution:

Additional qualifying experience in program/office/operations management, budget development and/or administration, or contract/grant administration may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. One (1) year (2000 hours) of additional qualifying experience will be considered equivalent to thirty (30) semester units or forty-five (45) quarter units.

Note: One year of full-time employment is equivalent to 2,000 hours (2,000hours of qualifying work experience is based on a 40-hour work week). Any overtime hours that you work above 40 hours per week are not included in the calculation to determine full-time employment.
