Entry Level Legal Assistant – Foreclosure

Reports to: Foreclosure Manager

Classification: Non-Exempt

Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an Entry Level Legal Assistant – Foreclosure who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with an energized team. The Legal Assistant for this position will have excellent communication, organizational, and people skills. The Legal Assistant will be a self-motivator, someone who works well with little supervision.

The responsibilities for a Legal Assistant include, but are not limited to:

• Using Perfect Practice, a legal software system, to merge documents.
• Data Entry into our tracking system

• Process incoming mail both electronic mail and hard copy; documenting the files, uploading documents and reviewing for necessary work
• Escalate issues with client regarding possible missing docs or information

• Pull searches from various websites
• Prepare letters and misc. legal documents

• Communicate with county officials
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Business school and or an Associates Degree preferred
