May perform a number of clerical and clinical functions in the laboratory. Required to perform all duties listed under Lab Information System Assistant . Will assist supervisors, LIS Coordinator in coordinating communication during a shift between CLS staff and Phlebotomists. Enters results of sendouts for review and release by a CLS. Performs L.I.S. system related task that is designated by L.I.S. Coordinator. Works mainly in the Front Office Area and handles clerical task.

Demonstrates cooperation and teamwork with all laboratory staff, shifts and sections to ensure efficient operation of the department.

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent
2. At least 3 years of laboratory experience or training through a college or certified training program for laboratory personnel
3. Strong English oral and written communication skills
4. Computer efficient with the ability to work with Lab Information Systems
