Role Description
We're seeking an experienced Loan Officer Assistant to help a top-producing Loan Originator. This full-time, on-site role is vital in providing administrative and clerical support to the Loan Officer and the Loan Processing Department. The ideal candidate is a bilingual (English/Spanish) team player, proactive problem-solver, and customer service oriented.
Key Responsibilities
· Bi-lingual – fluent in English and Spanish required
· Maintain clear and consistent communication with all relevant parties (Loan Officer, borrower, Processor) throughout the loan process
· Assist the Loan Officer with initial applications, disclosures, and loan estimate preparation
· Create and maintain borrower files within the loan origination system
· Follow up with the Loan Officer and borrowers to ensure timely submission of documents into the loan origination system
· Review application files for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to standards, flagging discrepancies for the Loan Officer
· Assist in gathering loan conditions from borrowers as required
· Exhibit strong communication and decision-making abilities
· Demonstrate excellent project management skills, handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
· Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold company standards
· Additional duties as assigned
