Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating transportation providers, Freight forwarders, Import Brokers, etc to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
• Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
• Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
• Tracking and fixing shipping errors
• Reviewing and processing invoices
• Compile and manage quarterly pricing for international shipping lanes
• Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
• Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2 to 5 years Logistics experience (preferably International or in a process chemical environment)
• Experience with Supplier Management and Service Level Agreements
• Strong Excel and analysis skills
• SAP System experience preferred
