Job Summary:
The Six Flags Over Georgia Field Agent executes day-to-day Loss Prevention efforts and undercover surveillance functions. The Field Agent position is excellent for individuals pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice or any other related field. This position can be a paid internship. The Loss Prevention Department provides students with first-hand experience in loss control, intelligence gathering, and field investigations. Agents work in several divisions, which include surveillance units, undercover operations, research, interviewing, and CCTV (Closed Circuit TV) maintenance.
Pay Rate: $14.50/hr
Responsibilities Include:
Providing undercover surveillance, assisting with shoplifting, and illegal entry apprehensions.
Documenting, generating, and tracking computerized theft reports.
Issuing and composing Civil Demands in addition to Criminal Trespass Notices.
Processing apprehended theft offender release notices.
Assisting and representing the park with prosecuting theft cases in accordance with department policies.
Providing courtroom preparations.
Monitoring and evaluating employee observations.
Assisting in the maintenance of Closed Circuit TV (CCTV systems)
Support and conduct all additional Loss Prevention duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Have a valid Georgia Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
Be available to work flexible hours at night, overnights, and on weekends.
Must be skilled at situational analysis and decision-making.
Must have excellent conflict resolution skills.
Must be able to work independently and willing to learn technical surveillance maintenance. (CCTV operations)
React well in stressful and emergency situations.
Possess above-average communication skills.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to speak fluent Spanish.
Physical Requirements:
Eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech. Manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition.
Walk/ Stand for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day; walk over 3 miles per day over various surfaces.
Lift and carry 25 lbs. over 25 feet over various surfaces; lift and lower 5 lbs. above shoulder level.
Must be able to climb a stepladder up to 6 feet in height or higher.
