Job Description
We are a fast-growing security company specializing in residential and small business alarm systems. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Low-Voltage Alarm Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience with alarm systems and be comfortable working independently in the field.
Responsibilities:
Install, service, and maintain alarm systems (intrusion, motion sensors, door/window contacts, etc.)
Troubleshoot and repair low-voltage wiring and security hardware
Perform system testing and ensure proper functionality
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience installing or servicing alarm systems
Solid understanding of low-voltage wiring and alarm components
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (travel to customer sites required)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
