Our client, a leading manufacturer of fishing tackle is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Production Team. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn, ability to work independently, and be a team player which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Mendota, IL

Pay Range: $20-26/Hr.

What’s the Job?

• Monitoring and repairing plant equipment.
• Performing routine and preventive maintenance on injection molding machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment.
• Conducting inspections and documenting your work.
• Keeping things tidy and safe, from handling hazardous materials to cleaning up grease and fluids.
• Tracking inventory and managing replacement parts.

What’s Needed?

• A knack for fixing things and a mechanical aptitude to read blueprints and schematics.
• A vocational or technical degree in vehicle maintenance (bonus points!).
• Basic math and computer skills to keep the job running smoothly.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to teamwork.
• A "can-do" attitude and the ability to solve problems creatively.
• Stamina to handle physical tasks like lifting, climbing, and crawling as needed.
