Task and Responsibilities:

    \n
  • Process Optimization: Developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • \n
  • Product Design Support: Collaborating with product designers and engineers to ensure that product designs are manufacturable and meet production requirements.
  • \n
  • Tooling and Equipment Selection: Selecting and designing tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • \n
  • Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures to maintain or improve product quality and consistency.
  • \n
  • Cost Analysis: Conducting cost analyses to determine the most cost-effective methods for high quality production.
  • \n
  • Production Planning: Developing production schedules, setting labor standards, and establishing workflows.
  • \n
  • Process Documentation: Meticulously documenting all manufacturing process information.
  • \n
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process and method improvements, implementing changes, and monitoring their effectiveness.
  • \n
  • Equipment and Technology Upgrades: Identifying and implementing new equipment, technologies, and methodologies to increase production and reduce scrap.
  • \n
  • Problem-Solving: Assisting in troubleshooting production issues, whether related to components, processes, or quality, to maintain delivery schedules and quality.
  • \n
  • Quality System Compliance: Following industry-specific regulations and quality system protocols, such as ISO standards and FDA regulations, when applicable.
  • \n
  • CAPA and DMR: Participating in Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and determining Discrepant Material Reports (DMR) disposition plans in collaboration with quality and production teams.
  • \n
  • Validation and Documentation: Executing Design of Experiments (DOE), validations, and control plans, and providing documentation for compliance and continuous improvement.
  • \n
  • OneTSS: Actively supporting production, engineering, and quality departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • \n

Education:
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in a field related to manufacturing, such as industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
\n
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing processes, quality control, and the use of industry-specific tools and software.
\n

The final compensation offered to the candidate may be based on geographical location, work experience and/or skill level. Additions to the compensation packing, including but not limited to paid time off, insurance benefits and 401(k) eligibility, will be outlined at the time of the job offer.
