Job Title: Material Specialist

Location: Waterloo, Iowa

Job Type: W2 Contract

Expected hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: On-Site

Pay: $23 - $25 / hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and schedule simple manufacturing processes for current production and service parts.
• Schedule requirements for material, including kanbans/triggers, delivery, and achievement of the production schedule.
• Develop line sequencing of options as needed.
• Provide work direction when necessary.
• Schedule production parts.
• Schedule service parts.
• Expedite production and purchased parts.
• Coordinate needed parts from other departments.
• Coordinate and communicate the implementation of engineering and material changes.
• Assist the production department in manpower planning.
• Perform general administrative duties to meet administrative support needs.
• Assist in coordinating the department's inventory integrity and accuracy, including production and scrap reporting.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4-year degree in any business-related field
• Manufacturing experience is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel)
