Position Overview
KleenMark is hiring for a
Hospital Cleaner . This role is responsible for performing detailed cleaning and disinfecting in patient care areas, including discharge rooms and occupied patient rooms. Because this position involves working in spaces with patients present, friendly interaction and professionalism are essential. English language proficiency is required to ensure clear communication with patients, staff, and supervisors

Accountabilities & Expectations
- Perform cleaning tasks to KleenMark standards; scope of work provided per location
- Meet quality and inspection standards using KleenMark tools and training
- Follow EHS safety policies and procedures (e.g., chemical use, medical cleaning, incident reporting)
- Report to work daily and on time
- Provide excellent customer service to hospital staff and patients with a positive attitude
- Maintain compliance with health requirements, including medical exams and immunizations
Essential Job Functions

Clinical & Hospital Areas - Clean and maintain healthcare environments including clinics and hospital routes
- Disinfect discharge rooms, oncology units, radiology areas, operating rooms (OR), prep rooms, and other specialized medical spaces in accordance with infection control protocols
- Clean occupied patient rooms with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring patient comfort during cleaning
Restrooms - Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors
- Replenish bathroom supplies and polish fixtures
Floors - Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors using appropriate equipment
- Perform additional floor work such as scrubbing, waxing, and polishing
Break Rooms / Kitchenettes - Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, and refrigerators
- Replenish break room supplies
Dusting - Dust furniture, equipment, and partitions
Trash - Empty wastebaskets and recyclables; transport to disposal areas
Other Duties - Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using hip or backpack vacuums
- Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, partitions, and sills
