Job Description

Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Mold Shop Technician to join their team. As a Mold Shop Technician , you will be part of a dedicated team supporting essential operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance on plastic injection molds.
• Conduct repairs and refurbishments on molds using precision tools and equipment.
• Measure mold components using precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to restore or improve mold components.
• Operate overhead cranes to safely handle and position molds during maintenance procedures.
• Respond to breakdown service calls and troubleshoot mold-related issues within the facility.

What's Needed?

• Previous experience working in a mold shop is required.
• Proficiency with measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with mold refurbishment and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with overhead crane operation and safety procedure
• Must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
