This position is to produce superior products following Arthrex Manufacturing Inc. Molding/Assembly processes and procedures. This position will be located at our manufacturing facility in Ave Maria, FL. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™.
Second Shift – 4-day/10-hour – 3:30pm to 2:00am, rotating crew schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Understands the basic operations of running an injection molding machine. Understands the safety and use of the molding room tools as in cutters, exacta knifes, swivel blades etc.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to identify all molding room defects and insert defects.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
Physical Demands:
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
Vision Requirements:
Visual acuity necessary to do the job safely and effectively.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
