Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree Preferred.
  
   

• BLS certification required at time of hire
  
   

• New Mexico MRT License required
  
   
• ARRT or ARMRIT required.

Or

• Registered Technologist Trainees/Apprentices:
• PMRT (Provisional NM licensure) required.
• R.T. (R) (ARRT) required.
• Successful completion of ARRT(MR) Boards within two years of hire.

Responsibilities:

Performs MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) procedures according to established practices and procedures. Takes call. Schedules MRI exams, stocks procedure rooms. Acts as a resource person to Radiology staff and medical staff.
