Hourly Pay:

$16.00/hr. - $18.00/hr. (depending on experience)

Shift(s):

Mon-Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm

McIntyre, GA, 31054

The Nailing Machine Operator will be responsible for operating the Pallet Nailing Machine. Operation of the machine includes loading boards, nails, lifting pallets weighing up to 70 pounds, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing the machine.

What You'll Do

• Operate Pallet Nailing Machine
• Lifting and loading boards
• Lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Maintaining/repairing machine as needed
• Keep area clean
• Focus on efficiency and safety

What You Need

• Comfortable lifting pallets weighing up to 70 pounds
• Previous experience with Viking/Champion machines is preferred but not required, we will provide training for the right candidate.
• Maintenance experience
• Power tools experience
• Computer skills

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate 
• Repetitively lift up to 50-75 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for entire shifts of varying lengths in time
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
