As a Painter, you will be responsible for mixing paints, matching colors, preparing surfaces, and applying paint to these surfaces. Painters may also perform touch-ups or coordinate large painting projects related to the construction industry. Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To:

• Preparing painting surfaces by means of air or wiping with solvent, removing old paint.
• Applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces
• Preparing the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic to prevent messes
• Taping off areas as needed
• Any other duties assigned

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience painting a plus
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing company a plus
• Bilingual a plus
• Applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50lbs., bend, squat, kneel and or stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
• Able to follow all safety procedures.

Salary Description $17.00/hr ($15hr plus the $2 differential) Alliance Steel
