Responsibilities

1. Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision in the assigned area.
2. Aid with entry and exit of patients.
3. Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
4. Report changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
5. Document necessary records.
6. Keep patient rooms clean and orderly; maintain medical equipment.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer; American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide credential from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire or transfer.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Note: Professional licensure/certification can substitute for education or experience if applicable.
