No experience of working in a healthcare environment necessary! Upon successful completion of the program , you will be placed into a permanent Full-time Patient Care Tech role within the following locations: Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, Paoli Hospital, Riddle Hospital, Bryn Mawr Hospital, and Lankenau Medical Center. Once recruitment for a cohort begins a member of the recruitment team will be in touch with further information. Commitment: Must commit to the 8-week program in-person training located at either Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital in Malvern OR Paoli Hospital in Paoli. This training will be Monday - Friday, 7A-3:30PM. Must be able to work both day and night shift. Shifts will become 12 hours once you have completed the 8 weeks of training and are placed into your full-time PCT role. Day shift is 7am-7pm and night shift is 7pm-7am. Why work as a Patient Care Technician with Main Line Health? Make an Impact! As a Patient Care Technician, you will be working collaboratively with the Nurses within the unit you are assigned. Your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of the Patient Experience. As a Patient Care Technician, you would be caring for patients by assisting with their daily living activities, taking vital signs, Accu-Checks, Phlebotomy, EKGs, and other nursing assistant responsibilities. At Main Line Health, our PCT's work on Day, Evening, and Night Shifts. The shifts currently available are based on department needs. Candidates must be able to work both day or night shift. Once the On-Demand Video is submitted and reviewed qualified candidates will then be selected to interview with a recruiter. This will be a phone screen to discuss the role in greater detail. Please note On-Demand video submission requests and phone screen invites will only be sent out during the recruitment period of the PCT Apprenticeship program. Licensures & Certifications: BLS Healthcare Provider preferred on hire / required prior to completion of unit orientation. Apply today!
