Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized speech-language services for elementary students in a dynamic and supportive school setting located in Bastrop, TX. This contract position supports a caseload of approximately 65-70 students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade. The role offers a hybrid work environment, requiring on-site presence three days per week, with the remaining days potentially done virtually based on compliance with testing and service requirements. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is essential to meet the diverse needs of the student population.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish (required)
• Experience in school-based speech-language pathology, particularly with Pediatrics and early elementary grades
• Ability to manage a caseload of 65-70 students effectively
• Must be willing to work on-site three days per week; hybrid options available for SLPs only

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments, utilizing district-provided computers and test materials
• Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely reporting of student progress
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
• Adhere to all state and district guidelines for speech-language services and testing

Position Details:

• Location: Bastrop, TX (Elementary School)
• Contract duration: Current School Year, starting ASAP through May 27, 2026
• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week
• Age group served: Pre-K through 5th grade
