Essential Duties and Tasks

• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical designs for the PeopleSoft PeopleTools stack (Application Designer, Integration Broker, SQR, Application Engine, Fluid UI).
• Develop and customize PeopleSoft components: pages, records, fields, trees, security, menus, workflows, and PeopleCode.
• Create and execute unit, system, and integration test plans/scripts; document results and manage defect resolution.
• Stay current with PeopleSoft PeopleTools releases, updates, and hotfixes; evaluate new features for potential adoption.
• Recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices to enhance system stability and efficiency.
• Support existing footprint and customizations.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 4+ years’ experience developing in a PeopleSoft FSCM environment.
• Minimum 4+ years’ experience with MSSQL 2012 or higher and Transact SQL.
• Experience with major upgrades including retrofitting and de-customization.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of the following modules: AP, AR, BI, OM, PO, GL, items, customers, suppliers, pick/pack/ship, and manufacturing.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.
• Experience with EDI transactions a plus.

Skills

• Proficiency with PeopleSoft PeopleTools: Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, Fluid UI
• Exposure to reporting tools such as BI Publisher, PS Query, and nVision
• Microsoft SQL Server MSSQL 2012 or higher and Transact SQL
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Experience with PUM and change assistant
• Experience building web services (SOAP and REST) and data transformation (XML, JSON).
