Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine physician for a fast growing practice in Detroit Lakes, MN. The practice is a multispecialty group including FM, IM, Dermatology, Audiology, Orthopedics, Ob/Gyn, Surgery, Podiatry, Optometry, Psychology, Psychiatry and Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapy. The service region covers 55,000 people with outreach specialties including Allergy, Cardiology, Medical Oncology, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and Urology. Call is 1:6 shared with IM, but FM covers pediatrics call. Local hospital employs 24-7 hospitalist service. The physician will also cover monthly nursing home/TCU rounds at a local long term care facility. On-site pharmacy, walk-in clinic, lab, imaging and ambulatory surgical center are available. The community of Detroit Lakes offers an excellent quality of life, a strong economy, and a safe, clean living environment, conveniently located on a 4-lane highway, 200 miles to Minneapolis and 40 minutes from Fargo/Moorhead, within a beautiful lakes community. Family Medicine Core Privileges include the ability to perform history and physical examination, admit (if applicable), evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients of all ages with a wide variety of illnesses, diseases, injuries, mental health conditions and functional disorders of multiple body systems. This includes pre-operative and post-operative care of surgical patients and return to work issues. Qualifications include M.D. or D.O. degree, completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program, board certification or eligibility, and demonstration of clinical activity in Family Medicine. Compensation includes a nationally competitive plan with benefits such as health, dental and vision insurance, 401K, disability, life insurance, CME allowance, malpractice insurance and tail coverage, and relocation allowance. Annual compensation floor range is $265,175 - $343,168 plus potential additional compensation based on personally performed wRVUs. Additional incentives may be offered and actual compensation varies based on multiple factors.
