Approximately 250 births (annually) at Essentia Health, Virginia, Hospital
Virginia Hospital is “Baby Friendly”
Remote fetal monitoring
Family Medicine with surgical OB & OB’s provide back up for C sections
Market leading pay & relocation offered. Substantial benefit package, minimum of 6 weeks off per year
On-site Chronic Disease Management nursing support
Nurse Online Triage 24/7
Multi-specialty clinic includes: 9 Family Medicine with 4 advanced practitioners with Integrated Behavioral Health, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Occupational Medicine, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and visiting specialties
Clinic, includes: laboratory, radiology, retail pharmacy and optical shop, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, Cancer Center, Regional Heart Center with CHF clinic, and warfarin clinic
Admit to adjacent Essentia Health Virginia Hospital: 30 beds, Level I Nursery, Level IV Trauma center and certified Stroke Ready facility

BC/BE Family Practice Physician
OB Required (C-sections required – Essentia Health offers an OB Fellowship!)

Approx. 60 miles from Duluth, MN; 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul
Service area: 30,000 – Virginia Population: 9,000
COMPENSATION
$323,400. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation .
