Job Description
We are looking for an honest, ethical and responsible individual with a friendly and positive demeanor to fill our full-time position. Part time or short-term employment is not an option. Travel in company provided work truck throughout Austin and the surrounding area.
Work Week: Monday - Friday; 9am - 5:00pm, some days 8am to 6pm depending on jobsite locations (outside of Austin)
Pay listed is salary based and commensurate with experience / competency-based pay. Salary pay increase will be considered after training is completed, based on job performance. *** Additional monthly bonus / commission pay is also provided after training is completed, based on job performance and sales.
Valid Texas Driver's License REQUIRED.
Work Experience Required
Must have good customer service skills and good communication skills. Candidates with the ability to problem solve are highly desirable. Candidates with prior plumbing and/or pool experience.
Work will be primarily in the Austin and surrounding area but some weekends/nights are possible for commercial projects on a volunteer basis with additional pay. Expect some travel out of the metro area.
Duties will include:
Candidates will start with on-the-job training using highly specialized electronic and passive sonar equipment to pinpoint water leaks on pool systems. Leak Detector Candidate will be required to demonstrate an ability to use computer technologies to maintain workflow and provide written test results. Good written communication skills are preferred. This company follows current CDC COVID-19 guidelines and precautions.
Fully trained technicians will be able to operate pool systems in a variety of modes to perform full testing. He or she will be able to locate leaks on pool plumbing systems and pool structures using specialized equipment. Technicians will be trained as needed using diving equipment. Technicians will also be able to work well with others on larger commercial leak detection projects.
