The client is seeking a President and Executive Director for the Center for Law and Social Policy (CLASP), a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing policy solutions for individuals with low incomes. With over 50 years of experience, CLASP's leadership and staff work to amplify the voices of those in need, provide advocates with effective policies, and collaborate with partners to create lasting change. The organization focuses on developing and implementing policies at the federal, state, and local levels to reduce poverty, improve the lives of those with low incomes, and promote economic security for all.The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of the systemic issues surrounding poverty in America, particularly in relation to systemic racism. They will be responsible for leading CLASP's policy and advocacy efforts, working with public officials to implement effective policies, and building coalitions to support a bold vision for economic security.
