COMPANY OVERVIEW Holcim is planning to spin-off its North American Business to unleash its full potential, capitalizing on North America's oversized growth in construction led by the modernization of infrastructure, a surge in advanced manufacturing and AI operation and the growth of resilient cities.
Holcim plans to list the new company on the NYSE by the end of the first half of 2025 and establish its operations headquarters in the US to be fully dedicated to serving the North American market and pursue a growth strategy across the region.
The newly listed company will become North America's leading building solutions company, with industry-leading market position to meet its customers' greatest ambitions with the most advanced building solutions from foundation to rooftop.
Description:
ABOUT THE ROLE Primarily responsible for the oversight, coordination and planning of daily production activities to ensure uninterrupted supply, and delivery of product to our customers. Enhances efficiencies in operations, while maintaining a strong safety culture.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - Makes recommendations for workforce planning, hiring, training, development, work allocation, conflict resolution, performance evaluations.
- Manage pumps/water and mobile equipment.
- Manage scheduing onf PM for equipment.
- Supervises, coordinates and monitors plant activities to include the maintenance of equipment.
- Supports and assists personnel in achieving timely and efficient production schedules
- Investigates abnormal operating events, or equipment failures to determine the cause, and makes adjustments, repairs and/or modifications.
- Ensures conformance with policies and procedures, safety regulations, and local, State and Federal laws and regulations.
- Analyses operational data and reconfigures operating areas as necessary to provide adequate, economical service
- Oversees the overall safety of all personnel working at, or visiting the site.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Education: Bachelor's degree or 5 plus yrs of work experience in heavy excavation, mining, pumps/water. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and Powerpoint

- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
