What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Answer incoming calls from individuals seeking information and assistance related to disaster relief programs and FEMA policies
• Provide guidance to callers by explaining FEMA programs, eligibility criteria, and available resources
• Assess the needs of callers and determine appropriate courses of action
• Address concerns and complaints raised by callers in a professional manner
• Record detailed notes of each call for accurate documentation and tracking

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Minimum of 6 months to over a year of customer service, secretarial, or telemarketing experience required; call center experience preferred
• Must have moderate computer skills, including the use of MS Office applications
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed

• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred for additional pay

• Professional attitude with courteous telephone etiquette
• Experience in a call center environment
