Job Description

A reputable and leading design-build client of ours is seeking a Project Manager to add to their team. The ideal candidate will be have 5 years experience managing heavy highway and bridge construction projects. A strong aptitude for managing claims and change orders is ideal.
RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Scheduling of projects in logical steps and budgeting time required to meet deadlines
• Acting as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors
• Mentoring and training junior engineers within the region
• Responsible for client invoicing and AR cash collections.
• Understanding of engineering science and technology, design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years experience as a APM/PE/Project Manager
• 5 years of DOT heavy highway and bridge construction experience
• Well-versed in working with and managing subcontractors
• Strong aptitude for managing claims and change orders
• Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree
