Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Proposal Manager with a strong background in technical writing and proposal development. In this role, you will manage the proposal process from drafting and submission to client presentation, ensuring all deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards. You will work closely with various departments, including Legal, Accounting, and Marketing, to improve communication and provide strategic representation during internal projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Development: Lead the creation of proposals, including technical writing, proposal drafting, and preparation of related marketing materials.
  • Proposal Management: Develop and maintain proposal schedules, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
  • Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Legal, Accounting, and Marketing to improve marketing communication and representation on internal projects.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Manage proposal opportunities, update pursuit spreadsheets, and maintain proposal logs for various sectors.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful completion of proposals and maintaining alignment with company objectives.
  • Marketing Activities: Oversee marketing activities related to specific targets or prospects, driving the marketing effort for strategic proposals.
  • Content Development: Write and verbalize areas of expertise within the company for promotional materials, proposals, and presentations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in the marketing of professional services, with a focus on proposal development.
  • Advanced proficiency in InDesign, with hands-on experience in working on proposals and related marketing materials.
  • Strong proficiency in managing proposal assignments and timelines to ensure smooth execution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise content for various stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and inspiring teams to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables efficiently, balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
