Job Title: QA Test Automation Engineer

Job Location: Boston, MA 02110

Onsite Requirements:

• Experience with ETL and API framework buildouts-must be able to build a framework from scratch.
• Develop a roadmap and timeline for establishing a test automation framework.
• Development role with a focus on backend automation

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Participate in various test practices including but not limited to test incident and defect management, manual testing, and test automation.
• Create and maintain tests within the squad that align with organization level and domain level test specifications.
• Contribute to internal guidelines, standards, and policies related to the development and test process.
• Collaboration with internal stakeholders to understand, design, and implement tests on test objects within the scope of the squad.
• Establish a working knowledge of technical and business domain within the scope of the squad.
• Support the release process.

Skills You Bring:

Technical:

• Must have experience utilizing various test design techniques that contribute to testing data quality.
• Knowledge of Python's testing framework, familiarity in several test frameworks, ideally pytest (intermediate level or above) to automate and execute tests for ETL, CI/CD pipelines, and scheduling tasks.
• Use of version control to track changes to software test code.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Develop scripts to automate test execution.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum.
• Windows proficiency.
