Job Description
The Quality Assurance (QA) Lead is responsible for overseeing all testing and quality control efforts for the DMA Next Generation Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. This role ensures that all deliverables meet defined functional, performance, security, and accessibility standards. The QA Lead collaborates closely with developers, designers, product owners, and Stakeholders to implement and maintain a structured testing framework that supports agile delivery and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the overall QA strategy, test plans, and test cases for AEM components, integrations, and platform features.
Lead manual and automated testing efforts, ensuring alignment with program requirements and timelines.
Coordinate defect tracking, triage, and resolution in collaboration with development and operations teams.
Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards and DoD cybersecurity testing requirements.
Implement quality gates within CI/CD pipelines and promote test automation for scalable releases.
Conduct regression, performance, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) as part of the sprint and release cycles.
Report on quality metrics, test coverage, and release readiness to program leadership and government Stakeholders. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including 2+ years in a QA leadership role
Experience testing web applications and platforms, preferably Adobe AEM or enterprise CMS solutions
Proficiency with QA tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Postman, or equivalent
Strong knowledge of Agile development, DevSecOps practices, and automated testing frameworks
Familiarity with Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards and DoD cybersecurity compliance
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
