Job Description

Novellis Health is seeking a passionate and experienced Radiation Oncologist to join our dynamic team. We are a leading provider of comprehensive cancer care with two locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including diagnostic imaging and physical examinations.
• Develop individualized radiation treatment plans based on patient needs and the latest clinical guidelines.
• Administer and monitor radiation therapy treatments, including advanced techniques like stereotactic radiosurgery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, surgeons, and nurses to provide optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about the radiation therapy process, potential side effects, and treatment goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• MD degree or equivalent
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology
• New York State medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Proven experience in diagnosing and treating cancer patients
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
