Staffmark is seeking a reliable and experienced Stand-up+ Reach Truck Forklift Operator for a leading logistics client in Joliet, IL. Hours and Pay

1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday | $19.50/hour

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday | $20.50/hour

3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Sunday - Thursday | $21.00/hour

Employment Type: Temp to hire

Daily Tasks and Requirements

• Operate sit down forklifts and reach trucks to move materials between production and storage areas
• Retrieve and place materials on racks for inventory and production needs
• Safely transport finished goods, raw materials, and packaging supplies throughout the facility
• Load and unload pallets and trucks as needed
• Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure forklifts are in top working condition
• Complete inventory management tasks, including scanning and tracking material movement
• Use battery-operated hand tools when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in staging and storage zones
• Follow all safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth workflow

Requirements:

• Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating stand-up/sit down forklifts and reach trucks (Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred)
• Strictly adhere to all GMPs and company safety policies
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in environments with fluctuating temperatures and noise levels
• Able to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining high accuracy
