Appleton, WI is a city north of Lake Winnebago, in Wisconsin. It is the 6th most populated city in Wisconsin. It is situated on the Fox Rier just 30 miles southwest of Green Bay and 100 miles north of Milwaukee.

Seeking a BE or BC Internal Medicine Physician to join our expanding Perioperative Services Team as our first Medical Director and full-time physician at our regional Orthopedic & Spine center in Appleton, WI. 

• Full-time 1.0 FTE (0.9FTE Clinical & 0.1FTE Medical Director Duties)
• Monday-Friday: 8a-4:30p
• No call, weekend or holidays
• Unique position to care for surgical patients in the inpatient setting while also cross training into an outpatient clinic for preoperative risk stratifications and evaluations. Role will directly influence quality outcomes of surgical patients including postoperative outcomes, same day surgery cancellations, care coordination, readmission prevention and system mortality index.

• Exciting opportunity to partner with nearly all specialty practices starting with surgeons, primary care, therapy, cardiology, pulmonary etc… all the way through the surgical experience and post-operative phase.

The Neenah clinic is equipped with imaging, MRI, neurodiagnostic and procedure labs, making Neuroscience Group a convenient choice for patients wishing to complete their testing in one location.

Compensation/Benefits

• Base Salary: $270,000 plus eligible to earn up to $13,500 in value-based quality incentives
• Medical Director pay: $131 an hour (Max of 4 hours per week)
• Sign on Bonus: TBD
• PTO: 35 days inclusive of vacation, CME and holidays
• CME: $4,500
• Other Benefits:
• Retirement Plans – 403b with a company match and 457b with a company contribution
