Registered Respiratory Therapist - PRN Position
Collaborating with the Interdisciplinary Team, the primary responsibility of the RRT/CRT is to perform respiratory/pulmonary therapy, management, rehabilitation, diagnostic evaluation, and direct care to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities, which affect the pulmonary system.
Requirements: • Must possess, as a minimum, an associate degree from an accredited school.
• Minimum of one (1) year respiratory experience in a skilled nursing and/or acute care setting.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
• Knowledgeable user of Point Click Care (PCC).
Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Unencumbered registered or certified Respiratory Therapist authorized to practice in Colorado. Must possess an active CRT or RRT credential.
EQUIPMENT USED: In the course of the delivery of resident care may use Nebulizers, Ventilator, Oxygen, BiPAP, CPAP, Oxygen masks, Pulse oximeters, Suction Canisters, Tracheostomy, Humidifiers, Nasal cannula, Chest wall oscillation, Cough Assist, Cpap and bpap devices, Endotracheal tube, Intrapulmonary percussive ventilation, Intubation catheters and ventilators, Nebulizer, Oral airway, Respirator, Suction catheters, Aerosol Mask, AND Cannulas. Use of standard office equipment (computer, MS Office programs, PCC), resident transfer equipment (lifts and gait belts), potential to support medical appointment transfers as needed.
Pay Range: $45.00 - $49.00 per hour based on qualifications and only those benefits required by law.
