GOTTREICH GRACE & THOMPSON is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Payroll Administrator/Specialist in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $20 to $35 per hour.**Job Overview:**As a Payroll Administrator/Specialist, you will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will work closely with the HR department and other teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.**Responsibilities:**- Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis, including calculating hours, overtime, and deductions- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations- Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation- Collaborate with HR department to address payroll-related issues and discrepancies- Stay up-to-date on payroll best practices and regulations**Requirements:**- 2+ years of experience in payroll administration or a related field- Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Excel- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent communication and organizational skills- Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredAt GOTTREICH GRACE & THOMPSON, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
