Schedule and Location: Full-time (40 hours/week). Contract to permanent! Work hours: Flexible 8-hour shifts, 5 days/week between 6 AM–7 PM MST (weekends included). Remote position (work from home). Compensation: Competitive hourly rate: $100–$105/hour (based on experience). About the Role: Judge Healthcare is seeking a board-certified Physician to join our team as a Remote Physician Reviewer. In this role, you'll utilize your clinical expertise to provide evidence-based reviews and adjudicate requests for commercial and Medicare D medications. You'll contribute to objective coverage decisions, stay updated on emerging medical technologies, and play a crucial role in shaping informed healthcare solutions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct peer reviews to evaluate clinical appropriateness of coverage requests. Stay informed on the latest treatments, including cutting-edge modalities. Provide objective, evidence-based insights to support review outcomes. Qualifications: Education & Certification: Current/active Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, accredited by the ABMS or AOA. Licensure: An unrestricted, unencumbered, and active medical license for clinical practice. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of full-time equivalent hospitalist direct patient care experience. Previous experience with utilization management or peer review programs is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in navigating multiple computer applications simultaneously. Able to work efficiently with a multi-monitor setup. Reliable, high-speed cable internet connection (satellite internet is not suitable). Attributes: Strong understanding of insurance plan criteria for clinical reviews. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to sit for 8–10 hours/day and effectively use general office equipment. Interested?
