Job Description

You can’t put a price tag on the fun you’ll have working on our Retail team. From selling candy and capes to restocking T-shirts and treasures, you’ll take home the perfect souvenir: a summer of valuable customer service skills and priceless experiences. The Retail Team Member is a Rapid Hire role! 

What does Rapid Hire mean?  The Rapid Hiring Process is designed to get you through the hiring process in an efficient manner! As a Retail Team Member at Six Flags New England…

You’ll Contribute to our Mission by:

  • Providing an enjoyable and memorable experience by greeting guests and providing superior service
  • Operating Point of Sale (POS) registers, receiving money and returning proper change with reasonable accuracy and efficiency
  • Performing sales and customer service functions including addressing questions and concerns, and answering questions about park product
  • Demonstrating a friendly and pleasant demeanor
  • Maintaining a clean and safe sales area and work environment
  • Communicating effectively with lead or supervisor
  • Stocking bins, shelves, and displays with various merchandise
  • ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies
  • Assisting in other areas of the Retail and Rentals Department
  • Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

 

  You’ll do it with your:

  • Friendly, outgoing personality inviting guests to your cart, shop, or register
  • Ability to work in an environment as fast-paced as our coasters 
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to the Six Flags mantra
  • Positive attitude to make guests excited about their purchases
  • Have a passion for shopping
  • Strong attention to detail

 

  You’ll Know you’re Ready when:

  • Must be 15 years or older 
  • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shift
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays; including a minimum of 10 hours per week
  • Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
