Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated intern to support our Campus Recreation Membership Department. This unpaid internship offers valuable experience in membership promotion, customer service, and business operations. The intern will work alongside our Business Services (Membership) Student Employees and the Membership Services Coordinator to enhance our membership initiatives and outreach efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing promotional strategies for Campus Recreation membership.


• Help with marketing materials for membership drives and special events.


• Collaborate with Business Services Student Employees on various projects.


• Assist in organizing and promoting campus events related to recreation and wellness.


• Help gather and analyze data on membership trends and customer satisfaction.


• Provide exceptional Customer Service to all patrons entering into the Campus Recreation Center.


• Be Aware of all updated Membership information as well as CRC programming.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment as an undergraduate student at Northern Kentucky University


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Proficiency in social media platforms and basic design software


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Excellent organizational and time management skills


• Enthusiasm for customer service and campus engagement


• Interest in recreation, wellness, or related fields
