This role focuses on prevention, early intervention, and mental health care, aligned with the Public Health Model. As a full-time clinician, you’ll foster a supportive, therapeutic environment and make a meaningful impact on students’ lives. This position requires in person work for the full school year including over the summer and other school breaks. Key Responsibilities: Service Delivery: Provide school-based mental health services, including workshops, small groups, and classroom interventions. Deliver Tier II and Tier III supports with a minimum of 18 hours of direct care per week. Caseload Management & Documentation: Manage a culturally responsive caseload, complete assessments, and ensure timely documentation in compliance with agency guidelines. Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with the School Behavioral Health Team and participate in the School Strengthening Workplan. Communicate progress in bi-weekly meetings with the wellness/mental health team. Evaluation & Reporting: Write required reports, attend DBH/DOH meetings as needed, and ensure accurate billing for treatment services. School Engagement: Organize school-wide activities, including wellness events for families and staff, and support students using organizational resources like counseling or case management. Skills & Qualifications: Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling (LGSW/LGPC required). Experience: 1-3 years of experience in outpatient mental health services for youth or adults preferred. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Electronic Medical Records, and culturally sensitive service delivery. Strong ability to adapt, manage change, and demonstrate respect for cultural differences. Why PTWMSI?
