Marathon Staffing is seeking reliable, compassionate candidates for multiple per diem School Nurse (RN) positions available immediately in Weston, MA!
Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
• Promote a culture of respect and inclusion that celebrates the diversity of the school system.
• Deliver exceptional nursing care to both students and staff, ensuring their health and well-being.
• Administer medications and prescribed medical treatments with accuracy and care
• Work one on one with a child with special needs and accompany on van rides, as needed.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all student and staff health encounters.
• Collaborate with the Director of Health Services to address and manage special health situations.
• Take immediate action in response to medical emergencies, providing appropriate care and support.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications include, but may not be limited to:
• Must have a valid license to practice as a registered nurse in Massachusetts
• Bachelor's degree in nursing from a college or university program in nursing accredited by the National League for Nursing recommended. Bachelor's degree in a related field may be acceptable if all other requirements are met.
• Certified in CPR for healthcare professionals through a recognized provider (e.g., American Heart Association)
• Recent emergency management in an acute care setting preferred
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic medical record systems
• Ability to pass a full background check.
