About the Role:

The Seasonal/Part-Time Equipment Delivery Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their equipment in a timely and efficient manner. This position involves transporting various types of equipment to designated locations while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading equipment, ensuring that all items are secure during transit. Excellent customer service is essential, as the driver will interact with clients upon delivery. Ultimately, this role contributes to the overall satisfaction of our customers and the smooth operation of our logistics team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Have or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Certificate, and continually maintain the certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
  • Able to operate a forklift
  • Basic mechanical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in delivery or logistics.
  • Familiarity with local routes and geography.
  • Customer service experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport equipment to various locations.
  • Load and unload equipment, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
  • Maintain assigned vehicles and equipment
  • Additional duties as assigned

Physical stamina is essential, as the role involves lifting and moving heavy equipment regularly.
