As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence and customer service skills will support the well-being of everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related breaches.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding staff and visitors during drills and/or real emergency situations.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site-specific procedures.
• Collaborate with medical staff, visitors, and other personnel to maintain a welcoming and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
