Job Description

Our client, a well-known baby lifestyle brand, is seeking a Senior Art Director to join their team for a 6+ month contract that will convert to FTE. This hybrid position is in Van Nuys, CA, and requires working onsite 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in creative strategy and execution, including in-house at a CPG company.

Responsibilities

• Support the ACD in developing and executing a cohesive digital design strategy aligned with the brand identity.
• Design and produce creative digital content across various platforms, including video, social media, email, branding, and marketing.
• Oversee digital design needs for web and social media.
• Collaborate with creative and cross-functional teams to develop innovative design concepts.
• Work closely with Brand, Marketing, Product, E-commerce, and Social Media teams to drive creative strategy.
• Ensure brand consistency across all digital and marketing materials globally.
• Execute a strong creative strategy and user experience across digital platforms.

Requirements :

• 10+ years of experience in creative strategy and execution, including in-house at a CPG company.
• 8+ years in a managerial design role at a fast-growing consumer startup or top-tier CPG company.
• Strong portfolio showcasing modern, original ideas across various channels.
• Expertise in photo and video art direction (experience with baby models is a plus).
• Proven experience managing budgets and leading creative teams.
• Deep understanding of business strategy, experience design, and integrated marketing.
• Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator (Premiere, After Effects a plus).
• Expertise in graphic printing, production processes, and international translations.
