Senior HR Director

Location : Concordville, PA

Type : Direct Hire

The Senior Regional Human Resources Director for the Americas is responsible for leading the HRD function for the Americas. This role involves developing and executing HRD strategies that align with the overall business objectives, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and fostering a growth orientated, positive and productive work environment.

Key Accountabilities:

Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the business goals and objectives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational change and development initiatives.
  • Oversee talent management, including succession planning, leadership development, and performance management.

Employee Relations:

  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements across the region.

Talent Acquisition and Retention:

  • Lead the recruitment and selection process for key positions within the region.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies to maintain a high level of employee engagement and satisfaction.

Succession Planning:

  • Manages the succession plan across the region by conducting quarterly reviews of 9 box assessments and development plans for our Targeted Development Group.
  • Drives development plans to enable a talent pipeline for Leadership Positions
  • Creates plans and programs to support critical skills pipeline.

Performance Management:

  • Manage performance appraisal systems to drive high performance and accountability.

Culture:

  • Acts as an ambassador of our Culture by driving our core values.
  • Promotes a culture of belonging.
  • Develop programs and policies that support a diverse workforce.

Experience and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing direct reports in other countries.
  • Extensive experience in global manufacturing, ideally in Mexico and Brazil.
  • Union experience required.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies in a multinational organization.
  • Direct leadership of HR resources in multiple countries.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the Americas.
